    - Listen, I have to tell you something.

    - Whoooat? Why didn't you tell me yesterday!

I was laughing during the bed scene thinking of that. I was also surprised thinking both actors would refuse to be that nude being famous now and all. :)

I'm glad it turned out the way it did. If there was real truce and they got all mushy mushy, it would have been bad. Hopefully they finish the undead business as soon as possible and go back to the human story.

I've brought up a theory of mine to quite a few people today that's been on my mind since last week's episode, and something was said last night that really makes me think I'm on to something:

My favorite scene throughout the whole series (Season 3?) was when Daenerys announced that "A dragon is not a slave" before annihilating the slaveowner she "sold" her dragon to.
Last night, after the meeting, when Jon and Dany were alone in the dragon ruins, she mentions how the Targaryens imprisoned their dragons there, and they got smaller and powerless. Then she reiterates "A dragon is not a slave." I don't think it was a "throwaway" line; I think (hope) it's foreshadowing. Even though she thinks her dragon is "dead," I think we're supposed to take it that, in the end, even as a zombie, Viserion will not turn on its "mother," and will perhaps help destroy the Night King...

So much for the Three-Eyed Raven being able to see everything that's happening now...

    I like Don's theory...

It appears Bran has access to everything, but doesn't actually know everything. Sam had to tell him about Rhaegar and Lyanna's secret marriage before he was able to recall it.

The problem with that theory is he's already been a HUGE help to the NK, and is obviously fine with being ridden by him.

To be fair, the winter has been moving south for a while now. Part of why Stannis got defeated last season is because the winter had already come to the North.

I do think the Night King radiates winter, and when his army burst through the Wall at Eastwatch, it greatly accelerated the seasons changing southward.

Yes. I think the Father Merrin Three-Eyed Raven was supposed to highlight all of the important bits for him, but they ran out of time. It's like having a fully immersive encyclopedia; a ton of knowledge and memory at his disposal, but he has to know what entries to "read".

I agree. Those earlier scenes weren't a cheat because the tension and mistrust between the sisters was real. Littlefinger's mistake was thinking he could deepen those divisions toward his own ends. Even when Arya threatened Sansa after Sansa found her faces, she gave her the knife rather than using it. She had her suspicions about Sansa, but held back to see what her big sister would do. I think it's at least possible that Arya was escorted into the Great Hall not sure how things were going to play out.

But in the earlier scene with Littlefinger, when Sansa said all of the things he wanted to hear, I'm pretty positive that she'd already decided to kill him. She's a Stark, and she's sticking with her pack, which includes Arya. Also for that reason, while she gets frustrated that Jon doesn't heed her counsel enough, I don't think she ever seriously considered a coup.

Not only is Danerys Jon's aunt, but Maester Aemon was his great great uncle.

Littlefinger should have been on her list.

I think Sansa reached the conclusion that Petyr was trying to play her when he implied (and had Sansa "conclude") that Arya wanted to be the Lady of Winterfell. Petyr knows a lot about Sansa, but knows almost nothing about Arya. Petyr knows Sansa--at one time at least--fantasized about "the stories" and their characters, but he doesn't know that Arya doesn't care at all about that stuff or being a lady of anything.

Right, I stated that yesterday. After that blunder by Petyr, I think Sansa approached her brother to get some more information about Petyr's misdeeds over the years.

I think she added him during or just before that trial.

Yes, but once it actually SEES its mother, it could be a VERY different story...

I seriously doubt it. It goes against everything depicted about zombification. Showing a zombie his mom doesn't change his attitude.

But what do we really know about a dragon's attitude? Like I said, it's just a theory I have. But yeah, I could see people being P.O.'d if that were to happen...

I wouldn't want to see the dragon to turn on the NK. I'm looking forward to an epic dragon fight.
