My TiVo had the airings incorrect in the guide as well, so I setup a manual recording for the shows. I hope everyone is able to either watch live or record the show. It is only two nights away!

Well-said. The DVD transfer is terrible, but at least it preserves the uncut version from the original 1966 release. The earlier VHS releases were of a cut-down reissue version from the 1970s; it wasn't just musicals that got this treatment under E. Cardon Walker's Walt Disney Productions.

It's all over now. Just as I predicted, everything was HD except for the two films that don't already have HD masters. The current standard definition DVD masters were used for The Sword and the Rose and Rob Roy The Highland Rogue. So nothing new to see.

Well. I haven’t watched Natty Gann in maybe 25 years.

I didn’t remember the parts with the little dog.

I’m in a much different place now I think then I was back then.
It’s hard for me these days to watch almost anything that has a dog in it.
Even if nothing bad happens to the dog.

Natty Gann is one of the best Disney movies to come from that time but I really wish the puppy parts weren’t there.
It just bothers me way too much.

I'd love to watch this all, but why do they run them so late? I haven't seen "The Legend of Lobo" since it played on a bill with SON OF FLUBBER when I was 9 years old. But I'm falling asleep by 10PM and the kids who would love these films should be asleep by then. And no, I'm not recording any of it.

It is rather strange, the times that TCM decides for some of their programming. i also feel that Vault Disney should be shown earlier, but I will be recording these.

It has only been recently that they show Noir Alley in the evening, with the encore on Sunday morning.

I miss the days of hand-painted movie posters. The one for The World's Greatest Athlete certainly did justice to its star (and no, I don't mean the tiger).
